After trying to sell my Piper Archer N6913F on my own for several months I finally turned to Marks Aviation for help. While on my own I received several calls using the usual advertising sites, most of them were only curious, not serious buyers. When I actually did get buyers that would come out to look at the airplane, I found I spent far too much time and just couldn't close a deal. Once I made the decision to hand the airplane over to Adam, he quickly went to work, fielding all the calls, screening for serious buyers and after only a few weeks we had the transaction complete. Contacted Adam beginning of June 2010 to sell my Grumman Tiger N74356 and signed a contract the end of that month for Marks Aviation to be my exclusive listing agent. He asked for photos some log copies for recent work done on my aircraft and to fill out a basic spec sheet. Within less than three weeks on the market he had my aircraft sold! Adam was able to do this from his office that was almost 2,000 miles from my home field. I would recommend Adam as he is able to pick out the buyers from the lookers. The deposit was already in place before the buyer showed up to view my aircraft and the deal closed just 10 days later.

I bought N6913F from Marks Aviation mid Oct. of 2010 to put on a flight school lease back. It was a very well IFR equipped Archer 2 with an almost new Gamin stack. The buying process was much easier than I had thought. We put down a deposit then a few days latter Adam met us at The Northampton Airport to take me up for a short demo ride, once we landed we had the pre- purchase inspection done by a A&P that we took with us from Long Island,NY. Everything checked out OK, and a few hours latter we flew home with the aircraft.

I would recommend Marks Aviation Inc. to any one buying an aircraft! I bought N4662L a 1966 Cessna 172 from Adam in Feb of 2010 sight unseen. Adam owned this as a dealership AC and had just done a fresh annual and pitot static/transponder test for the sale. We opted not to do a pre- buy and took a leap of faith and paid for 100% of the aircraft before we ever saw it as Adam gave his work as well as a written guarantee on the contract that we would get the airplane exactly how it was advertised. His Ferry pilot David arrived with my new plane a few days after we closed the deal and sure enough it was exactly the aircraft that Adam had advertised, the interior/exterior was in the exact condition that he said it was, everything worked perfectly and I could not have been happier with how the process turned out.

Over the past few years I have had the pleasure of working with Mark's Aviation on several occasions. As a contract pilot, I have delivered several aircraft for the company. I bought a 1959 Beechcraft J-35 from Marks Aviation in December 2009. It was an Aircraft that was a Dealership owned airplane that Adam had to do a long list of work to get airworthy and have an annual sign off as it had sat for about 5 years. I made a deal with Adam over the phone as he wanted to move it fast as the work had taken far longer than his organization had planned on. I paid for the Aircraft sight unseen and that included delivery from So Cal to Salem, OR. Adam sent the log books and a bill of sale via Fed Ex the day we closed the deal. On the ferry flight his pilot experienced weather problems the last 100 miles of the trip and was not able to make it our home field. The weather did not break for over 2 weeks and during this time the AC developed a stuck throttle cable as well as fuel bladder going bad! Adam had the items replaced with new parts on Marks Aviation's tab as was promised and got the aircraft too us once they had a weather clearing. I am sure this was NOT one of their better business deals however Adam stood behind the agreement we had despite all the obstacles that arose while on the ferry flight to OR. We were very happy once the Aircraft arrived and it was indeed the airplane that was explained to us.

Dealing with Adam was great from our first call on the Piper Cherokee 235 I bought from Marks Aviation in Oct of 2010. Every part of the sale was very smooth. Adam had just had a fresh annual done for the sale as he told me he does for all Aircraft they sell as Dealer Owned. I put down a deposit on N8528W and about a week latter and drove down to Orlando with a friend that is an A&P to check out the bird. Adam flew into Orlando as well to meet us as my intent was to have the A&P fly the plane home to GA if everything checked out. We arrived around 9 am and had the inspection done and wire complete a few hours latter. Adam confirmed the wire made out a bill of sale and the deal was done. A very easy hassle free transaction from start to finish.

In a down market I was happy with what we were able to get for the Aircraft and the short amount of time it took to sell considering a cold and harsh winter around most of the Country. In less than 60 days on the market Adam had my 1965 Cessna 172 "F" N8725U sold at our asking price! He handled all aspects of the sale and brought me aserious buyer that closed the deal with us sight unseen. Adam made a couple of flights to Westhampton Airport in his own airplane to check out my aircraft / take photos, make log book scans ect. to aid in the quick sale of N8725U. I would recommend Marks Aviation to anyone trying to sell their aircraft. Attempting to sell privately is just not worth the few bucks you may save considering the countess hours it takes to bring a real buyer to the table.

Adam was very accommodating when trying to meet up to show a plane wherever it was located, especially considering how far he had to travel the many times we met up. Although I did not end up buying a plane, Adam was very understanding and considerate. He returned the deposit in a timely manner and we still maintain a relationship today. We sold our Lance through Adam Marks of Marks Aviation, and
were very pleased.It's not a great time as you know to be selling airplanes,
and we sold our airplane for much less than we had originally hoped. This
of course was a function of the aircraft market, not Marks Aviation.Adam Marks of Marks Aviation was very professional, and
great to deal with, always returning calls and emails very promptly. His
knowledge of the aircraft market is very good, and he looks after all the
"nitty gritty" elements of the sale. He will only bring serious
buyers to your attention. Get in writing up front what your sale price of your plane
will be, what his commission is, what you are getting for this, and I don't
think you will have any surprises if you use Marks Aviation. Adam is very
professional, and I didn't have any surprises any time during the entire
process.
